In solemn observance of Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the Lenten season, the Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory (QCJMD) conducted a Holy Mass at the QCJMD Chapel. The celebration was attended by members of the Diocese, Chief of Offices, personnel of the jail, and PDLs, marking a moment of spiritual reflection and renewal.

Ash Wednesday, a significant day in the Catholic liturgical calendar, signifies the start of Lent—a 40-day period of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving leading up to Easter Sunday.

The celebration served as a meaningful opportunity for the PDLs and the jail community to deepen their spiritual journey, reinforcing the message of hope, renewal, and unwavering faith as they embark on the Lenten season.
